Most often, when someone gets into the hobby of metal detecting they buy a cheap scoop not realizing that it is a critical part of being successful. After breaking it, the beginner will decide if they want to stick with the hobby and if so, will move up to a better scoop. Our new scoop will be expensive due to the details of design and materials, but it will be worth it. Once you realize that with the price of gold skyrocketing and that ONE gold band can pay for the scoop and carbon fiber handle, you will realize that cutting corners on your recovery tool is a fatal mistake.
